A VIRTUAL BRAND FOR A MUSEUM
This identity design project focuses on developing a visual brand for a Bowling Museum that represents the history and culture of bowling. The ultimate goal is to create a memorable and recognizable brand that connects visitors to the rich heritage of bowling. The logo was mainly inspired by the various kinds of bowling pins that have been used throughout history.
The logo features 4 types of bowling pins: 10 pin, 5 pin, duckpin, and candlepin. Each pin is characterized by its unique shape, representing the distinct characteristics of each game. The use of multiple pins create a dynamic and visually interesting composition, while also highlighting the museum's mission to celebrate the culture of bowling in all its forms.
Phrase Your Experience is an engagement project in which Bowling Museum will be providing visitors with the opportunity to write short phrases that reflect their own personal experiences and feelings about bowling. These patches will be custom-made, and visitors will be able to take them home as a souvenir. The museum will also display some of the most creative phrases on a special wall at the museum, where they will be seen by other visitors and staff. In order to participate in this activity, visitors will need to purchase a ticket to the museum, which will include the cost of the patch-making materials. The museum will also provide guidance to visitors who need help with their designs or phrases. Overall, this project will not only increase the number of visitors to the Bowling Museum but also enhance their experience by providing them with a fun and memorable activity that reflects their own creativity and personality.
